Are you interested in teaching? Perhaps you will be after viewing the inspirational public service announcements from TEACH.gov. Last week, the Department of Education released this testimonial from President Barack Obama:
Other testimonials from national leaders include Director of Domestic Policy Council Melody Barnes, Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and Secretary of Energy Steven Chu. Educational advocates and celebrities featured include Bill Gates, musician John Legend, Oprah Winfrey and NBA star Chris Paul.
The President and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan launched the TEACH initiative last September to inspire the next generation of teachers and celebrate the great teachers already working in America’s classrooms.
You can have a positive influence on students, schools, and communities now and into the future. Schools across the nation are in need of a diverse set of talented teachers, especially in our big cities and rural areas, and especially in the areas of Math, Science, Technology, Special Education, and English Language Learning. -TEACH.gov
