Bills on the Move: Week 6

The number of bills on the move grew to 49, as Week 6 of the 2012 Legislative Session draws to the close. There are now 29 House and 20 Senate proposals still making their way through the legislative process, with less than a dozen that have been approved so far. The bills on the move include proposals the Utah State Board of Education supports, such as a bill that would place the Board’s vision and mission statement into code, a bill delaying the implementation of a new school grading system and making changes to school land trust oversight.
