Create a Bookmark and Win Money for College

Utah students in grades K-12, here’s a chance to win a $1,000 college saving certificate. The Utah Educational Savings Plan (UESP) and Zions First National Bank are sponsoring the “Make Your Mark” bookmark contest.

All you have to do is design a bookmark on the official entry form and submit it by Oct. 1. Go to uesp.org/bookmark for the contest rules and to download an entry form.

A total of $8,000 will be awarded to eight winners. The winning designs will be printed and used by UESP and Zions Bank.
“The contest is a highlight of the year for UESP,” said Lynne Ward, Executive Director of the Utah Educational Savings Plan. “We invite all students to exercise their creativity and enter the contest for the chance to get an instant head start on their college savings.”

Governor Gary Herbert, who is one of the four judges selecting the eight winners, has declared September College Savings Month.
