The event is on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 8 a.m. at the Salt Lake Center for Science Education in Salt Lake City. It combines exercise for the body and mind and is intended for teachers, students, administrators, and community members. The event will be sponsored by SelectHealth.

The 5K finish line will be at the STEM Fair featuring Utah’s STEM community organizations presenting their best projects and resources for teachers. The fair will also have hands-on activities for children and students.

Please share the information about this event with your school community. The school with the highest number of participants will receive prize packs of PE equipment.

The registration fee for the 5K is $5 for an adult and this includes one free registration for a PreK-12 student. To register go to:
