Charters Opening in 2014-2015

The State Board of Education approved the charter schools listed below to open in the 2014-2015 school year. Updated directory information about all Utah public charter schools can be found at http://www.schools.utah.gov/charterschools/School-Directory.aspx.

Due to a change in legislation (UCA 53A-1a-501.9) six additional new schools may be approved this spring to open in fall 2014, as well.

    April 2014 Winter Sports School will become a charter school. Their academic school year is April – November. Our son started 9th grade in August 2013. Can we withdraw him from PCSD and have him start 9th grade over again in April and still graduate in 2017, but not until November?
