Here are some statistics from the 2014 Utah accountability reporting on PACE and school grades released on Monday, Dec. 15 by the Utah State Office of Education.

  • Total possible points for Elementary/Middle Schools is 600 points.
    • 53% or a B was the average score for an Elementary/Middle school.
    • Elementary/Middle schools were graded on Growth and Proficiency.
  • Total possible points for High Schools is 900 points.
    • 51% or a B was the average score for a high school.
    • High Schools were graded on Growth, Proficiency, Graduation Rates, and ACT scores.
