Congratulations to USOE’s Lillian Tsosie-Jensen

Comprehensive Counseling and Guidance Program Specialist Lillian Tsosie-Jensen was named Educator of the Year by the Utah Technology Council (UTC).

Tsosie-Jensen was recognized as Educator of the Year for her outreach to UTC for the last three years, connecting school counselors statewide with technology industry representatives to improve their career awareness in order to provide more career opportunities for Utah’s students, Judy Young, UTC’s executive director, said.

“It has been a great experience for all involved and this year UTC worked with USOE (Utah State Office of Education) to pass the Counselor Professional Development Bill H.B. 198.”

Tsosie Jensen has been working as an educational specialist overseeing school counseling programs since 2009.
