This new High School athletics proposal is insane. Public education is for educating the students, not athletics. Athletic participation is an extra curricular activity. While the current system is not perfect, it is 1000% better than what has been proposed. If parents want their kids to go to a certain school for academic reasons they can basically transfer wherever and whenever they want, which is fine. But to allow the same policy for sports creates an environment that will ruin high school sports in Utah. Please do not go along with this proposal.
