Utah Eighth Graders Top Nation in Science; Fourth Graders Ranked Eighth

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah eighth graders turned in the best science scores in the nation in 2015, collectively raising their average score by five points and beating the national average by eight points, according to data released today by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as the Nation’s Report Card.
